Wah-la! Here the items from my August GoodBeing Box. I am going to review each item individually, but doesn’t everything look pretty cool? I love that these products are either organic, vegan, or cruelty free. Also, the sample sizes are pretty generous, so it allows you to use enough product to give a fair review.
Let’s get started.
Isa’s Restoratives – Immortelle Beauty Balm – This is a cold pressed balm infused with unrefined oils and Cupuaçu butter, which retains water in the skin, reduces the degeneration of skin cells and restores elasticity. All the products are hand-made and this product is gluten-free. This product can be used day or night and only a small amount is needed. The balm rubs easily in your palms, it’s not sticky or greasy. It does contain Beeswax, jojoba oil, babassu butter, sesame oil, red raspberry seed oil, rosehip seed oil, and many other natural beneficial plants. Full size 1 oz retail: $64.00
Gypsy Soul Organics – Sister Wind Aromatherapy Mist – This is mist that is said to excite the senses, energize the body, and awaken the spirit. It contains eucalyptus, basil, and spearmint. The spearmint is the more dominant scent out of this combination. After spraying the mist, the scent dies quickly, but it can be used as either a room spray or body mist. It’s a great potion for allergies and is vegan. The 2 oz size comes in a glass bottle and retails for $19.99.
Z Skin – Sensitive Acne Nighttime Wash There were different options of this product you could have selected. Since I do have sensitive, acne prone skin, I selected this product. It features a soothing honey base plus skin healing botanical, oils, and enzymes. Other ingredients are Jojoba, Teatree, Lemon, Clove, Flaxseed, Aloe, Safflower, Taminu, Apricot, Elderflower, Bhringaraj, Cedarwood, Juniper Berry, Papaya, and Pomegranate. All of Z Skin products are 100% organic. I have yet to try it, but based on the ingredients, it doesn’t look like I should have a massive breakout right? Retail Cost: 2 oz fl $17.95
Pacifica Beauty – Stunning Eyebrows Gloss & Set – This eyebrow gel comes in clear or brown. It is formulated without carmine, mineral oil and parabens. This natural formula is said to give the appearance of thicker, healthier brows. This product is 100% vegan and cruelty free. I was sent the clear gel, and I haven’t used it yet. On the site the reviews are mixed. Either it was too clumpy or they need more color options. I love my brows, so I am curious to see what this product is all about. The full size 0.27 oz retails for $14.00.
Everwell for Life – EVERBIOTICS – This is a drinkable power blended with prebiotics and probiotics fortified with superfoods. One stick is day is what is recommended to help support your digestion, regulate your gut health, promote cardiovascular and support metabolism. I tried one packet this morning. I don’t expect immediate results, and I already take a probiotic supplement from Garden of Life which is pretty awesome. Directions for this powder is just to pour one packet into a cold beverage or food, shake or stir, and enjoy. I just poured the packet into my BlenderBottle. The full size contains 30 sticks and retails for $40.99
