Goodbeing Beauty Box Review

Yes, Goodbeing is another beauty box subscription, but what separates this beauty box from some of the others, is that it targets those individuals who love green, natural, organic, and sustainable ingredients. Also if you love to support small businesses, this may be a subscription for you to look into because some of the brands are not well known. The enrollment process is pretty standard, you fill out an online profile that will be used to determine your skin and hair preferences. Each monthly box contains 4-5 products from trial size to full size. Within each box, you will be able to pick one of the products for the month. The shipping took about a week. I live on the east coast and the box was shipped from Oregon. The packaging was nothing fancy, looks like all recycled cardboard, I guess that is to go with the “green” theme. I’m all for it. So let’s take a closer look at each product!

cheekliptint

HAN Cheek & Lip Tint (Rose Berry) – This is a 100% natural cheek and lip tint made from vegetables, plant, fruits, mixed in a Shea butter, coconut cream, and argan oil.  As a lip tint, it is a bit too shimmery for me.  The color has a slight glitter in it so it may work better on the cheeks.  The packaging was nice, it came cylinder shape box (not pictured) that the actual cheek & lip tint is enclosed in.

UVO Sun Protective Drink Supplement –    Drink UVO is a supplement that you pour into an 8 fl oz glass of water or beverage of your choice and drink 30 minutes before sun exposure for 3-5 hours of sun protection.  After sun exposure, you are to drink another 8 fl oz. glass to help soothe your skin.  I don’t know how one would prove this works, since it is just a supplement, but hey,  it is clever idea.

Yuni Beauty Concentrated Body Cleansing Creme –   This is a creme, where a little goes a long way.  All Yuni products are non-toxic, plant-based, and biodegradable.  The full size bottle is 6 fl. oz. and retails for $15.00.  I like the scent of the creme, it kinda reminds me of when I walk into Exhale Spa.  The aroma has a tranquil and soothing smell.

Marleys Monsters Washable Facial Rounds– These are eco-friendly cute crafty reusable facial rounds.  They are made with 2 layers of 100% cotton flannel prints.  It says that flannel becomes more absorbent after the first few washes.  These are very cute and I don’t know if i will wash and reuse, but they will get at least one use.

MyChelle Perfect C Radiance Lotion – This is a moisturizing lotion packed with 12% L-Ascorbic Acid, Plant C-Stem and Licorice Extract to help brighten and protect your skin. I received the full 1 fl. oz. bottle which retails for $45.00.  This is to be used twice daily after a cleansed face.  The scent a bit of citrusy, which i assume is from the Vitamin C.  I did have to rub it in pretty good for it to absorb in my skin.  The MyChelle brand has an array of products for all skin types and offers serums, exfoliators, moisturizers, and masks.

Well, that sums up the Goodbeing September box.  Now, I’m sure your next question is, “How much will this cost me?”  There are 5 membership plans available, Click Here to get the options.  I am on the pay as you go membership.  It is $21.00/month, and automatically recurs each month until you decide to cancel.  Currently Goodbeing ships only to the United States, U.S. Territories and APO boxes.  Overall I was satisfied with my first beauty box from Goodbeing.  I am going to try each product and hopefully at least one can be a part of my normal beauty routine.

What are your thoughts on Goodbeing? What other beauty subscriptions do you recommend?
