October GoodBeing Beauty Box Review

img_1992-gb

Due to Hurricane Matthew, my beloved Trader Joe’s had no flowers available. So forgive me for no pretty roses or tulips. I had just realized that there was a bottle of Probiotics that came in this box, so although you don’t see it here on display in the picture above, I will post a picture below.  At first glance of the items  in this month’s box, I was excited to try these samples out. Side note, is anyone else loving this fall weather right now besides me? It is only 76 degrees right now, but if it could just stay this way for the rest of the year, it would be heaven. That’s why I decided to use my skyline as the backdrop for the photos today.  Okay, back to this beauty box review.  Let’s hit it!

drhauschka

Dr. Hauschka Rose Nurturing Body Oil –  This a 100% organic and natural skincare product. It is free of parabens, mineral oils, fragrances, and dyes.  I like that this body oil absorbs well and doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy.  I applied it on my skin when I got out the shower while my skin was still moist and it was awesome.  If you don’t care for the rose scent, it comes in five other aromas that I’m sure you will like. This body oil can also be used as a massage oil as well. I received the 1.0 fl. oz size.  The full size comes in 2.5 fl. oz. and retails for $29.00.  This one is definitely a keeper.

Pure Anada Loose Mineral Eye Shadow–   I like the color “Close to Cocoa” that was sent because I love neutral eye shadow tones. I’m not a loose powder person too much because it is so messy.  The shadow was spilled over most of the box when I opened it.  All the ingredients are natural and free of synthetic preservatives and fragrances. Since I like the color I am sure I will use the sample.  The retail price is $8.00

osea

Osea Ocean Cleanser–  This is said to be a hydrating facial cleanser used to remove dirt, makeup, and impurities.  All Osea products are organic and vegan.  I’ll be honest,  you all know how skeptical I am when it comes to trying new facial products, so with that being said, I haven’t tried it. I did check the reviews and the consumers appear to give the thumbs up on it.  This product is made in the U.S.A. which is always good to support the home team when you can.  The sample size sent was a 1.0 fl. oz.  The full size is 6.0 fl. oz. and retails for $44.00.

texturescrubber

Daily Concepts Dual Texture Scrubber– This is a perfect scrubber for sensitive skin people like myself.  It provides exfoliation and works up a rich lather with your desired soap or body wash.  I live a rich lather! What is also pretty cool is that it has a label with an indicator that fades as a notification to let you know it is time to replace your scrubber. The scrubber is comprised of a natural cotton base layer and a soy based foam material.  It has been allergy and dermatologist tested.  The full size scrubber retails for $12.00

probiotics

Hyperbiotics Pro-15-  These are easy to swallow probiotic pearls, formulated to be 15x more effective. It is said to feature 15 diverse strains and patented time-release delivery. Released over 8-10 hours to ensure survival past stomach acids.  Vegetarian, non-GMO, and free of gluten, soy, nuts and artificial flavors.  Directions says it can be taken with food or on an empty stomach.  There are plenty of probiotics out there with higher than 15 strains, but just do your research, and find out which if any is best for you.  I was sent the full size of 60 count which retails for $30.00

Soo.. what did you all think of the October Goodbeing box?  Any products you may be interested in trying out?  For $21.00 a month, I do feel like I am getting my monies worth so far. Goodbeing has lived another month to see another charge on my credit card.  Have a Golden Day!
